Advanced Services

Lines and wrinkles develop as result of environmental damage and as a natural consequence of ageing. Wrinkle reduction injections using Botulinum Toxin Type A aim to soften these lines.

At Dr Philippa Johnson Aesthetics the Botulinum Toxin Type A used is Botox®, only available on prescription.

Botox® treatment is relatively quick and pain free. A very fine needle is used to inject the muscle, temporarily relaxing it.

Botox® can take up to 2 weeks to take full effect, with clients generally seeing a difference after 2-3 days. Results can last between 3-4 months depending on your lifestyle and how your muscles react to the product.

A consultation is required to discuss the most suitable options. You will not be able to get treatment done at this appointment. You will need to book another appointment for treatment. Cost of the consultation is free but if you agree to go ahead with treatment a 50% deposit will be taken to secure your treatment appointment.
